The Steveston Legacy Statue was unveiled on:

Sunday, August 30th, 2009 @ 11am.

The location of the statue will be in front of the Gulf of Georgia Heritage Cannery in Steveston.

It is:
• A life-sized bronze sculpture depicting three fishing industry workers, circa 1930
•A permanent tribute to those workers whose efforts led to the development of Steveston as the hub of the fishing industry
• An engaging interpretation of Steveston's social history
• A perfect focal point for Steveston's historic waterfront walk
